This girl, being the 2nd child, threw these two oldest child parents for the biggest loop of our lives.



I mean, where in the world did this blonde brat come from. She has more energy and pizazz and stubbornness and contraryism than we could have ever imagined a second child having. Needless to say Victoria and Audrey are COMPLETE opposites!



God love her. She finally learned to put panties back on herself. Albeit they are wrongside out and backwards. It is a start.



She has no fear. NO FEAR. She jumps in the swimming pool, tackles the ocean waves, and has more bumps and bruises in one week than Victoria has in one year.

She has the sweetest voice and the best little Southern accent.

Oh wait, she is terrified of the vacuum and blender.

LOVE us some AC.

Well there is no denying our children have personality and LOTS of it!
Today I feature Victoria! These pictures could speak for themselves.


Here we have "Goggle Girl." She wore these on day to Mother's Day Out!


This is her first visit to the MS Children's Museum. She had a blast!

So did we! The letters are from a HUGE scrabble game laid out on the floor of the museum!

This is a picture I took in January after we were delivered 3 boxes of diapers. YIKES! Victoria was just in diapers at night. Audrey was going to the toilet on her own most of the time at the house, but with a newborn, I just wasn't ready to commit to the training part of potty training. And well, Garrett he went through 20 diapers in one day, so I needed A LOT of size ones!

This week big things have happened in the bathroom department in our house!
-Victoria has now been sleeping through the night with panties and no accidents.
-Audrey has finally had a few days of being accident free.
-Garrett is only wearing disposable diapers at night.

Now I do expect some accidents in the future, but I am calling it today and saying I have 2 potty trained kids and one in cloth!!

Our first family joke-

One night several months ago Brandon and I put the girls down for bedtime and we heard them giggling and talking. We could hear them say a line and then just crack up, say the line again and crack up. What would this oh so humorous line be you ask.

Girl: "Guess What?"
Girl 2:"What?"
Girl 1:"Assiiiiignnnment!"

Why in the world would a 1 year old and a 3 year old be bantering about this extremely long drawn out word no one knows, but it is hilarious! For that matter who knows where they learned this word. Now all 4 of us at random times will ask each other, "Guess what?, "What?", "Assiiiiiignment!", "Oh, you got me!" The girls get us quite often actually.

Garrett Wilson is the newest addition to our family. He was born December 11, 2010. Weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz at 8:13 am. Yes sir, I had him all natural! He pretty much fits right in our family, as if there were any doubt. He will be 10 weeks tomorrow! He smiles A LOT. He cries when he is wet or hungry. And he tries to say Hi. He loves mobiles and swaddling. He does not like car rides or naps.


Audrey is Audrey! There is no other child quite like her on the planet I can assure you of that! She is a girly girl, tomboy, defiant, sweet, rough, loving child. She is who she is and we love her for it! She has always liked to climb, but the new thing she likes to do is hang on to a shelf and swing. She doesn't like diapers and has basically potty trained herself. She is petite and It is hard to find clothes that fit her. She is a bundle of energy who loves to instigate conflict with her older sister. We are constantly trying to fight the beat of her own drum.


Victoria is the oldest child and as the oldest child of parents who were both oldest children, she was bound to have oldest child syndrome. And she does! Victoria aims to please and full of empathy for others pain and emotions. She remembers everything and is very systematic in her play. All of her blocks have to be turned the same way and lined up just so. (This is where Audrey finds her ammunition for taunting.) She loves princesses and fairies.


Brandon is still working at Bomgar. He is also highly involved in the technical team at First Baptist. On the homefront, he is the best handyman I know! He is currently working on making a twin bed for each of the girls. He loves on the kids with tickles and kisses. He is a great provider and stabilizing element to this family.

Me? Well, I am a mom, housewife, and entrepreneur. I try to balance playing, nursing, and sewing. Sometimes I clean up, but I try to make my day too busy for that. I am passionate about many things, and I do not mind having the label as "firecraker" in some of my circles.

Brandon and I are truly blessed and thank God everyday for the life he has given us. Welcome to our journey with Him!
